Booking Process: By completing a booking on the Alchemy of Am website, you are entering into a binding agreement with Sabbi Martin and the retreat organizers. A booking is confirmed when payment is received in full.
Deposit & Payment: The full retreat investment of £1,999 per person must be paid in full to secure your place. We accept payment via Stripe (credit/debit cards) or bank transfer. Payment must be received within 7 days of booking to hold your reservation.
Confirmation: Upon successful payment, you will receive a booking confirmation email with your confirmation number, retreat details, and access to the guest portal.
Cancellation Timeline:
Cancellation Process: To cancel, contact Sabbi Martin at [email protected] with your confirmation number. Cancellation is effective upon receipt of your email.
Refund Processing: Approved refunds will be processed within 14 business days to the original payment method.
Medical Disclosure: You are responsible for disclosing all pre-existing medical conditions, injuries, allergies, and medications in the guest details form. Failure to disclose relevant health information may result in denial of participation.
Physical Activities: Participation in yoga, breathwork, meditation, and other activities is entirely at your own discretion and risk. You acknowledge that these activities may involve physical exertion and assume all risks associated with participation.
Medical Fitness: By attending, you confirm that you are in adequate physical and mental health to participate in the retreat activities. If you have any concerns, consult with your healthcare provider before attending.
Travel Insurance: We strongly recommend obtaining comprehensive travel insurance that covers medical emergencies, trip cancellations, and repatriation. Travel insurance is your responsibility to arrange and is not provided by the retreat organizers.
Assumption of Risk: You voluntarily assume all risks associated with your participation in the Alchemy of Am retreat, including but not limited to:
Release of Liability: By attending the retreat, you agree to release, waive, and discharge Sabbi Martin, the retreat organizers, Villa Monte, and all associated staff and facilitators from any and all claims, damages, or liabilities arising from your participation, including but not limited to personal injury, illness, loss, or property damage.
No Liability: Sabbi Martin and the retreat organizers assume no responsibility, liability, or ownership for any individual participant. You are solely responsible for your own physical, mental, and emotional wellbeing during the retreat.
Room Assignment: Room assignments are made at the discretion of the retreat organizers based on preferences indicated during booking. We will make every effort to accommodate your preferences, but assignments are not guaranteed.
Room Changes: Room changes after arrival are subject to availability and may not be possible. Please indicate your preferences clearly during the booking process.
Facilities: Access to villa facilities (pool, gardens, common areas) is included with your booking. Guests are responsible for treating facilities with respect and following posted guidelines.
Damage Liability: Guests are responsible for any damage caused to the accommodation or facilities during their stay. Costs for repairs or replacement will be charged to the guest.
Meal Plan: All meals are included with your booking and are vegetarian, alcohol-free, and caffeine-free. Meals are served at designated times as outlined in the retreat schedule.
Dietary Restrictions: Please disclose all dietary restrictions, allergies, and preferences during the booking process. We will make every effort to accommodate your needs, but we cannot guarantee all requests can be met.
Outside Food: Bringing outside food or beverages (particularly alcohol or caffeine) is not permitted. The retreat environment is designed to support the retreat experience.
Respectful Behavior: All guests are expected to treat other participants, staff, and facilitators with respect and courtesy. Disruptive, abusive, or harassing behavior will not be tolerated.
Substance Policy: The use of alcohol, recreational drugs, or other intoxicating substances is strictly prohibited. Violation of this policy may result in immediate removal from the retreat without refund.
Removal from Retreat: The retreat organizers reserve the right to remove any guest whose behavior is deemed disruptive, harmful, or in violation of retreat policies. No refund will be provided in cases of removal.
Photography: Photography during group activities may be permitted at the discretion of the retreat organizers. Please respect other guests' privacy and do not photograph individuals without their consent.
Social Media: Guests may share their retreat experience on social media, but should respect the privacy and confidentiality of other participants. Do not share identifying information about other guests without their permission.
Official Photography: The retreat organizers may take photographs for promotional purposes. By attending, you consent to the use of your image in promotional materials unless you opt out in writing.
Schedule Modifications: The retreat organizers reserve the right to modify the retreat schedule, activities, or facilitators as needed. Changes will be communicated to guests as soon as possible.
Force Majeure: In the event of circumstances beyond our control (natural disasters, extreme weather, government restrictions, pandemics, etc.), the retreat may be postponed or cancelled. In such cases, guests will be offered a full refund or the option to reschedule to a future retreat.
Retreat Cancellation: If the retreat is cancelled by the organizers, a full refund will be provided. The organizers are not liable for any additional costs incurred by guests (flights, accommodation, etc.).
Personal Information: Your personal information is collected and used solely for retreat administration, communication, and safety purposes. We will not share your information with third parties without your consent.
Email Communication: By booking, you consent to receive retreat-related emails including confirmations, reminders, and updates. You may opt out of non-essential communications at any time.
WhatsApp Group: Guests will be invited to a WhatsApp group for retreat coordination and communication. Participation is optional but recommended for staying informed.
Retreat Content: All retreat materials, teachings, recordings, and content provided during the retreat are the intellectual property of Sabbi Martin and the retreat organizers. Reproduction, distribution, or commercial use of this content without permission is prohibited.
Personal Use: Guests may use retreat materials for personal, non-commercial purposes only.
Governing Law: These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
Jurisdiction: Any disputes arising from these terms or your booking will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
Informal Resolution: In the event of a dispute, we encourage you to contact Sabbi Martin at [email protected] to attempt to resolve the matter informally before pursuing legal action.
Right to Modify: The retreat organizers reserve the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date.
Continued Use: Your continued use of the website and booking of the retreat constitutes your acceptance of any modified terms.
